Nick Bisby

Nick Bisby has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Nick is currently working at Axios HQ as a Staff Software Engineer since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Axios from May 2017 to September 2022 as a Senior Backend Engineer. Before Axios, they worked at TownNews.com as a Senior Programmer from May 2014 to May 2017, where they were responsible for building and maintaining PHP backends and ExtJS admin tools. Earlier in their career, they worked at Tribune Company from August 2013 to November 2013 as a Release Engineer III and from November 2011 to August 2013 as a Telecomm Analyst. In these roles, they managed release workflow tools, researched and implemented new release tools and plugins, built admin web applications interfacing with Asterisk/FreePBX, and wrote scripts for deployment and generating reports.

Nick Bisby received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Nick attended the university from 2004 to 2010, completing their education in the field of Electrical Engineering.
