Mai Karas

Mai Karas is an experienced investment professional with a focus on private equity and venture capital in the food and agriculture sectors. Since May 2018, Mai has served as Associate Director of Growth Equity at Rabobank, building on previous roles as an advisor in business development at Hudson River Biotechnology and analyst positions at Cibus Capital LLP and SHIFT Invest. Mai co-founded LOYA, a startup aimed at the super-food juice market, and has gained valuable insights into B2C investments through this experience. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management in Life Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Engineering in Agricultural Economics & Engineering from the University of Zagreb.
