Gina Dean

Gina Dean, CPCU, ARe, currently serves as Vice President and Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter at AXIS Re, a position held since April 2022, focusing on North American casualty. Prior to joining AXIS, Gina was a Board Member of the U.S. Reinsurance Under 40s Group from July 2017 to July 2022, where responsibilities included Communications & Membership Co-Chair and Educational Tour Chair. Gina's extensive experience includes nearly eight years at Munich Re, culminating in the role of Vice President and Casualty Treaty Underwriter, responsible for a diverse portfolio of casualty lines. Earlier roles at Munich Re include Casualty Facultative Underwriting Secondment in Madrid and participation in the International Graduate Associate program. Gina's career commenced with internships at Travelers in the Special Liability Group Actuarial and Corporate Actuarial departments. Gina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University.
