Usman Malik

Usman Malik has extensive experience in the actuarial field. Usman started their career as a Consulting Actuary at Towers Watson, where they worked from 2006 to 2010. Usman then joined Kuwait Reinsurance Company as the Chief Actuary from 2010 to 2012. Since 2012, they have been working at AXIS (AXIS Capital) in various roles, including Vice President, Risk Management Actuary, Lead Pricing Actuary - International Cat Management, Lead Pricing Actuary - International, Head of Property Pricing, Deputy Chief Pricing Actuary - Insurance, and Chief Pricing Actuary - Insurance. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Pricing Actuary.

Usman Malik holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued an MSc degree in Actuarial Finance at Imperial College London. Usman later became a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, UK, specializing in General Insurance, and completed their education in 2010.
