♦ Our New Community Health Center

We've opened a beautiful new health center, at 5925 W. Las Positas Blvd. in Pleasanton. With 28 exam rooms and 8 mental health counseling rooms, our new clinic will double our capacity and enable us to serve everyone who needs care.

Axis began in 1972 as a health center for low-income children, and over the years has grown to provide medical care for all ages. We also offer mental health counseling services, outpatient  addiction recovery programs, a WIC nutrition program and school and community-based services. We have six sites, and serve more than 14,000 people.

The Healthcare and Behavioral Services Team at Axis Community Health provides comprehensive, integrated medical and behavioral health services to the Tri-Valley region's low-income and uninsured residents. This team, including therapists, nurses, doctors, and counselors, collaborates to deliver primary care, mental health counseling, dental assistance, and addiction recovery programs. They ensure that everyone, from pregnant women and homeless individuals to teenagers and schoolchildren, receives the necessary healthcare and support to lead healthier lives.
