Ernest J. LaFemina has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and project management. Ernest J. started their career in 2005 at North Shore-LIJ Health System, where they worked as a Project Director and later as the Director of Facilities Development. In 2014, they joined New York Presbyterian as the Manager of Architecture & Engineering. Ernest J. then moved to Axis Construction Corporation, where they held multiple roles including Senior Project Architect / Project Executive and currently serves as the Vice President. Ernest J. LaFemina is also a LEED AP certified professional.

Ernest J. LaFemina, AIA, LEED AP pursued their education in the field of architecture, studying at the New York Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1987. During this period, they completed their architecture degree, focusing specifically on the study of architecture.
