Layne Gossett

Layne Gossett has over 20 years of professional experience in the technology industry. In 2013, they began working as a Senior Consultant at Redline Networks, LP, where they led internal and customer-facing technical project management. Layne also developed and executed Sales and Engineering strategies as a Solutions Engineer on multiple simultaneous projects. From 2000 to 2007, Gossett was Managing Partner and Director at Axis Global Technologies, LLC, where they were responsible for all business operations, business development, marketing, service delivery, and staffing. During this time, they also held various contract consulting roles at 7-Eleven, the American Red Cross, Tellabs, Inc., Women's Diagnostic of Texas, Blythe-Nelson, and A.T. Kearney. In these roles, they worked on projects related to field office asset optimization, digital signage systems deployment, next generation retail network deployment, Payment Card Industries compliance audits, headquarters relocation and VoIP migration, and desktop deployment and support.

Layne Gossett's education history includes a B.S. in Telecommunications Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University, which was obtained between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, Gossett obtained an A.A.S. in Laser/Electro-Optic Technology from Texas State Technical College between 1991 and 1993. In 2007, Gossett attended Big Nerd Ranch for Python Development and in 2008, Gossett attended Big Nerd Ranch for Django Web Application Development. Gossett has also taken various courses through Coursera since 2015.
