Michael Meagher

Michael Meagher currently serves as Managing Director - Partner and Head of Origination at The Carlyle Group since September 2025. Prior to this role, Michael Meagher spent over a decade at Golub Capital, where responsibilities included Managing Director from August 2014 to August 2025. Michael's career began at Deutsche Bank, progressing from Associate to Vice President in the Restructuring & Workout Group and then to Director in the Financial Sponsors Group from August 2007 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Associate at Preferred Real Estate Investments, Inc., focusing on commercial real estate investment. Michael Meagher holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from Dickinson College, obtained in 2000, and is a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.
