Melissa Hayman

Melissa Hayman, DPT, COMT, CMTPT, FAAOMPT, is an experienced physical therapist currently practicing at Axis Sports Medicine since May 2023. Previously, Melissa served as a physical therapist at NEURO TOUR Physical Therapy, working closely with performing arts professionals, and has a comprehensive background in treating orthopedic injuries at various facilities, including Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center and Athletico. Melissa holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Manual Therapy at the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. With certifications in manual therapy and trigger point dry needling, Melissa contributes significantly to dance medicine, providing care for organizations such as Hubbard Street Dance Company and Broadway in Chicago.
