William Kelleher Hernández

William Kelleher Hernández has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. William has held various leadership roles in technology and information security. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Corporate Communications Manager for TELEVISA S.A. In 1998, they became the Long Distance and Special Projects Sales Director for MIDITEL S.A. DE C.V., where they developed and improved sales plans. From 2003 to 2004, William was the Latin America Director for VIANET INC., responsible for opening new markets. William then served as the Chief Operational Officer for DEXA WIRELESS INC. from 2004 to 2006, overseeing the implementation of ERP systems and web environments. At COMISION FEDERAL DE ELECTRICIDAD (CFE) from 2007 to 2008, they worked as the Market Intelligence Manager, leading negotiations and developing business strategies. From 2008 to 2013, they served as the CIO / Director General of Information Technology and Communications for SECRETARIA DE GOBERNACION, where they directed the policy and strategic planning for federal information technology security. During 2012 to 2013, William was the President of the "COMITÉ ESPECIALIZADO EN SEGURIDAD DE LA INFORMACION" (CESI) FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, focusing on analyzing the legal framework in the field of cyber crimes. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Director Corporativo de TI at Grupo Biossmann, responsible for the technology and innovation of the group. Most recently, they worked at Advance Secure Solutions as an Asesor Comercial de Tecnologías from February 2019 to June 2019. Currently, since June 2019, they hold the position of CIO & CISO at Axity México, Chile & Colombia, providing IT strategy and development services to external clients.

William Kelleher Hernández obtained a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
