Valentina Labay Ph.D.

Valentina Labay, PhD, PMP, serves as a Scientific Project Manager at Axle Informatics since December 2021, bringing extensive experience in project management and scientific research. Previous roles include Program Analyst and Program Coordinator at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, where Valentina contributed to programs focused on combating antibiotic resistance and COVID therapeutics. With a background as a Scientific Program Manager II at Leidos Biomedical Research Inc and prior research positions at Otsuka Maryland Medicinal Laboratories, the NIH, and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Valentina has honed expertise in molecular biology, project coordination, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration. Valentina holds a PhD in Molecular Biology/Cancer Research, an MSc in Biochemistry, and a B.Sc in Biology, along with various certifications in drug development and science education.
