Del Trezise began their career in 1992 as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Cambridge. In 1995, they moved to Glaxo-Wellcome as a Senior Scientist and was promoted to Group Leader. In 2004, they joined GlaxoSmithKline as Director of Biological Reagents and Assay Development, where they led a team of 20 scientists and was a project lead for 3 discovery programs. In 2009, they co-founded Essen BioScience Limited and served as Director and European Site Head, overseeing all scientific and commercial support operations for the European business, as well as participating in the Executive Leadership Team, R&D Leadership, New Product Innovation, Business Development, Market Research, Strategic Collaborations, and Thought Leadership & Content Writing for Live-Cell Analysis. In 2013, they joined ELRIG UK as Non Executive Director and Scientific Program Chair. In 2017, they moved to Sartorius as Strategy Development - Laboratory Products and Services, BioAnalytics and Senior Director, Head of Applications. In 2020, they were appointed Non Executive Director at Semarion and Axol Bioscience Ltd.
Del Trezise received a BSc. Hons IIi in Pharmacology from the University of Bath between 1985 and 1989. Del then went on to pursue a PhD in Pharmacology & Physiology at The University of Manchester from 1989 to 1992.
