Richard Coleman

Richard Coleman has a strong background in the technology and federal sectors. Richard currently serves as the President of Axon Federal, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Federal Sector at Axon from December 2020 to January 2023. Richard also held the role of Vice President and General Manager of the Federal Sector at Axon from December 2018 to December 2020.

Before joining Axon, Richard worked at General Dynamics Mission Systems from 2010 to 2018. Richard held various roles including Vice President of Law Enforcement Systems, Director of Public Safety Programs, and Director of Homeland Security Strategic Planning.

In addition to their experience at both Axon and General Dynamics, Richard also worked at General Dynamics C4 Systems from 2002 to 2010. Richard held positions such as Space Ground System Capture/Business Development Manager and Systems Architect and Manager of Strategy and New Business.

Richard is also a member of YPO since May 2023.

Richard Coleman earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Richard later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
