Jolene Leung's work experience begins with their role as a Math Tutor at Sierra Vista High School from August 2014 to June 2016, where they provided assistance to students with their homework and maintained an orderly learning environment.

From September 2016 to July 2017, Jolene worked as a Waitress at Sam Woo Bbq Restaurant, taking orders, serving food, managing customer complaints, and handling payments to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Jolene then served as the Finance Chair for Circle K International - UCSD's SLSSP committee from November 2017 to February 2018. In this role, they managed the committee's budget, organized successful fundraising events, liaised with local vendors, and assisted with planning and problem-solving.

From May 2018 to October 2018, Jolene took up the position of Finance Chair for Circle K International - UCSD's NMI committee. Here, they played a crucial role in balancing the committee's budget, contacting local vendors for event support, collaborating with other committee members, and addressing any issues that arose.

Starting in June 2019 and ending in August 2020, Jolene worked as a Cashier at Birch Aquarium at Scripps. In this position, they provided excellent customer service, managed merchandise floor, and handled cash transactions.

From August 2020 to February 2021, Jolene served as a Brand Associate at Gap, where they worked as a cashier, provided exceptional customer service, managed merchandise, and contributed to increasing customer loyalty.

Jolene then joined Nordstrom in February 2021 as a Service Experience Associate until June 2021. Jolene assisted customers as a cashier, focused on customer service engagement, managed returns processing efficiently, and helped achieve reward program goals. Jolene also gained cash room handling skills during this role.

Currently, since June 2021, Jolene is working as a Business Intelligence Engineer at Axos Bank. Under the Data Analytics business unit, they utilize their expertise in large databases, including SSMS, T-SQL, and Python, to improve efficiency, complete projects, and generate reports. Their responsibilities include developing reports, data pulls, and ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders and creating and maintaining data visualizations using Tableau.

Additionally, Jolene has also been working as a Notary Public for the State of California since December 2021.

Jolene Leung completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Data Analytics from UC San Diego. Jolene attended UC San Diego from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they received their high school diploma from Sierra Vista High School, where they studied without declaring a specific field of study, from 2013 to 2017.
