Tyler received his PhD in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University where he worked on mechanisms of chloride regulation in retinal amacrine cells. He is experienced in single cell molecular assays, CRISPR/Cas9, and electrophysiology techniques and aspires to use these tools in the development of human therapeutics for debilitating neurological diseases.
