François-René Alexandre

François-René ALEXANDRE has a diverse work experience in the fields of project management and chemistry. François-René is currently serving as the Head of Customer Project Management at Axplora since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Novasep as a Project Manager from April 2018 to December 2022. François-René also served as a Principal Scientist II Medicinal Chemistry at MSD from 2014 to October 2017. François-René ALEXANDRE's earlier roles include being a Principal Scientist Medicinal Chemistry at Idenix Pharmaceuticals from July 2003 to 2014 and a Research Scientist at Pfizer from October 2001 to March 2003. François-René started their professional career with a Postdoctoral position at Université d'Orléans in France from October 2000 to September 2001, working on the total synthesis of anticancerous heterocyclic alkaloids. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral researcher in Organic Chemistry - Biocatalysis at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom from August 1999 to September 2000, focusing on the deracemisation of racemic amino acids.

François-René Alexandre obtained a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry - Fine Chemistry from Le Mans Université during the period of 1995 to 1999.
