Ilya Lukibanov has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ilya began their career as a Junior Analyst at PFL Advisors, where they coded financial information of Russian government companies and evaluated their potential. Ilya then worked as a Senior Analyst at Sberbank, developing dynamic behavior models using machine learning and econometrics. Ilya also served as a Research Assistant at New Economic School, where they conducted data analysis and visualization projects related to NHL player scoring behavior.
During their time at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, Ilya worked as a PhD student and held multiple teaching assistant roles. Ilya also served as an instructor for marketing analysis and strategy. Additionally, Ilya was a member of the Monitoring and Statistics Committee at the Higher School of Economics Student Council, where they contributed to optimizing committee processes.
Currently, Ilya is employed at AXS as a Data Scientist, where they are involved in the development of a price recommendation system and a broker detection model.
Ilya Lukibanov began their education in 2013, attending the New Economic School where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Ilya remained at the school until 2017, completing their undergraduate studies. Continuing on their academic journey, Lukibanov then enrolled at the University of Southern California in 2017, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Quantitative Marketing. Ilya is expected to complete their PhD in 2022.
