Jay Sietsema

Jay Sietsema has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jay is currently the General Manager / VD at AXS, a company that provides innovative ticket management solutions to various sports clubs, arenas, theaters, and concert halls in Sweden. In this role, they focus on utilizing data to gain insights and increase revenue for clients.

Prior to their current position, Jay worked at Eventim Sweden as the Managing Director / VD from 2017 to 2022. Jay also served as the Interim Managing Director for Eventim Norway in 2018 and as a Country Manager at Eventim Sweden in 2017.

Before Eventim Sweden, Jay was the Sales Manager External Events at Artexis Easyfairs from 2016 to 2017. Jay'sresponsibilities included sales and business development for trade fairs, exhibitions, concerts, award banquets, and international congresses.

From 2012 to 2016, Jay worked at Stockholm Globe Arenas - AEG Facilities as a Senior Sales Manager - Business Development. Jay was responsible for selling arena services for concerts, family shows, sporting events, and gala banquets.

Prior to that, Jay worked at Live Nation Sweden AB as a Promoter from 2006 to 2012. Jay started their career at Eventum as a Sales Manager from 2002 to 2006, where they handled budgeting, marketing, sponsorship sales, project management, and financial results for major events.

Jay also has experience working as a Sales Manager at Real Entertainment Group and Pound Positions. Additionally, they worked as a Sales & Office Manager at Blendow Marketing and founded their own company called Glacier Distribution, where they imported and distributed action sport products, with a focus on wakeboarding.

Jay Sietsema attended UC Santa Barbara from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics. In 1994 to 1995, they pursued a Masters degree in European Affairs, Business Administration, and Business Law at Lund University. In 2020, Jay attended IHM Business School, where they studied EQ Lederskap (Emotional Intelligence Leadership). Additionally, they obtained a Real Estate Appraiser License from the State of California, Office of Real Estate Appraisers in September 1992 and became an International Wakeboard Judge certified by the European Wakeboard Association in March 2000.
