Shannon Teich has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1994, Teich worked as an Associate Store Manager at Gap Inc./Gap, where they were responsible for sales goals, inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, and payroll management. Shannon also played a key role in streamlining operations for inventory and merchandising procedures.

In 2004, Teich joined Cirque du Soleil as a Merchandise Manager, overseeing all aspects of merchandise-related operations, including POS, inventory, staffing, and training. Shannon excelled in setting goals and managing budgets for a touring show with a fully functioning pop-up store.

Continuing their journey with Cirque du Soleil, Teich took on various roles over the years. From 2006 to 2012, they served as a Box Office & House Manager, responsible for all box office operations and guest relations. During this time, they managed a team and focused on strategic marketing and sales to enhance the show's quality experience.

Teich's involvement with Cirque du Soleil extended to a managerial position. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Manager in the Sales & Customer Experience Department. Here, they supervised all levels of staff, recruited and trained team members, and managed operations within budget parameters. Shannon also played a crucial role in coordinating set-up, ticket sales, guest services, and load-out for international transfers.

In 2013, Teich temporarily transitioned to Outbox Technology as a Documentation & Training Specialist before rejoining Cirque du Soleil later that year. In their role as a Senior Ticketing Coordinator in 2013, Teich handled arena sales and also worked as a Ticketing Agent for internal and VIP reservations.

Expanding their skill set, Teich took on the position of Project Contract Manager at Manpower in 2007. In this role, they successfully hired and trained temporary laborers for a contract with Cirque du Soleil across the United States, effectively managing staff requests with a low turnover rate.

Teich further broadened their industry experience in 2015, joining Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino as a Ticket Operations Manager. Here, they oversaw ticketing events for various venues and led a team of over 50 agents, ensuring the highest level of guest services and implementing standards.

Teich's involvement in the entertainment industry continued when they joined Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group in 2016. As the General Manager of Retail, they demonstrated their expertise in sale generation, staffing, merchandising, budgets, inventory, and guest experience. Shannon then transitioned to the role of Retail Sales Supervisor at the KA Boutique by Cirque du Soleil at MGM Grand, where they excelled in retail sales supervision.

Teich's most recent role, starting in 2018, has been with AXS. Initially serving as a Senior Account Manager, they later advanced to the position of Director of Account Management for the Las Vegas region.

Throughout their career, Teich has consistently shown strong leadership, organizational skills, and an ability to manage teams effectively. Their experience spans retail, ticketing operations, merchandise management, and account management in various industries, making their a versatile and valuable asset in their field.

Shannon Teich completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Canadian Studies at the University of Toronto - Victoria University from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, they also obtained a Course Certificate in Marketing from George Brown College. Later on, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued a Certificate Program in Leadership Management at George Brown College.
