About This Role 

The Analyst, Contract Operations will be responsible for analyzing and overseeing various critical aspects of market access operations including formulary coverage, payment tracking, and government pricing reviews. This role involves close coordination with third-party service providers and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely execution of all assigned tasks. 

This role is based at Axsome’s HQ in New York City. 

Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Formulary/Coverage Criteria Review and Analysis: 

  • Regularly review and analyze formulary coverage criteria to ensure compliance and optimization of market access strategies. 

Payment Tracking:  

  • Maintain a comprehensive payment tracking system to ensure all payment obligations are met timely and accurately. 

Claim Analysis: 

  • Ensure the accuracy of all claims to foster trustworthy relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Analyze claim trends to identify potential opportunities and areas of improvement. 
  • Detect and report any claim anomalies to ensure operational integrity. 
  • Collaborate closely with third-party service providers for seamless claim processing and analysis. 

Government Pricing Review: 

  • Validate the accuracy of government pricing data to comply with regulatory standards. 
  • Identify pricing trends to provide strategic insights for decision-making. 
  • Work collaboratively with external service providers to ensure accurate and timely government pricing reviews. 

Reconciliation Activities:  

  • Assist in tie-outs and reconciliation activities to ensure financial accuracy and transparency. 

Requirements / Qualifications 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, or a related field, required 
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma industry 
  • Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 

 Experience and Knowledge 

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills 
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software 
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for identifying trends and anomalies 

 Salary & Benefits  

The anticipated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location. Axsome offers a competitive employment package that includes an annual bonus, significant equity and a generous benefits package.
