Areum Kim, RN

From 2012 to 2015, Areum Kim worked as a Paralegal at the Law Office of Jan H. Brown, PC.

In 2017, they started working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Medicine department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and also worked as a Registered Nurse in Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

In 2018, Areum joined Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. as a Clinical Research Associate and later became a Clinical Research Associate II. Areum then transitioned to the role of Lead Clinical Research Associate before leaving in 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate in Global Clinical Operations at Eisai US.

Since 2021, Areum has been with ICON plc, starting as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager (Global Lead), then becoming a Commercialization & Outcomes Research Manager, and finally working as a Global Project Manager.

In 2023, Areum joined Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. again, this time as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations.

Areum Kim, RN has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from New York University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Biology from Hunter College. Areum has obtained various certifications, including the NYS Registered Nurse License from the New York State Board of Nursing in March 2017. They also hold a GCP certification from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network obtained in February 2019. Furthermore, Areum possesses a BLS/CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association obtained in April 2019. Lastly, Areum obtained an Emergency Medical Technician certification from the New York State Department of Health in August 2011.
