Vivian Boschesi Barros, MD, PhD

Vivian Boschesi Barros, MD/PhD, currently serves as Associate Medical Director - Medical Monitor in Clinical Development at Axsome Therapeutics, Inc., since December 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Medical Science Liaison at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from August 2019 to May 2021, and Medical Science Liaison at Eli Lilly and Company between April 2018 and July 2019. Vivian also worked as Attending Physician in the Psychiatry Emergency Service at SPDM from July 2014 to March 2018 and as Clinical Trial Sub-Investigator at the University of São Paulo Medical School from June 2015 to June 2017, participating in studies such as the SUSTAIN-1 trial. Previous training at Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP included a residency in Psychiatry from March 2013 to March 2016. Vivian holds both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Doctor of Science (equivalent to a PhD) in Epidemiology from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
