Melanie Van Riemsdijk

Melanie van Riemsdijk is an experienced professional in market access with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Market Access Director at Axtalis since July 2022, Melanie previously held leadership roles at Baxter International Inc., including Head of Market Access Netherlands and Senior Market Access Manager. At Sanofi, contributions included roles as Market Access Manager Netherlands and Global Market Access Senior Manager for Real World Data, where strategic developments were made for the alirocumab product. Melanie also acted as Global Market Access Director during a maternity leave period. Earlier in the career, Melanie worked at GlaxoSmithKline the Netherlands and Erasmus MC, where responsibilities included health economics and epidemiology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmacy from Utrecht University.
