Eythor Sigurdsson

Eythor Sigurdsson has extensive experience in systems engineering and control systems, currently serving as the Manager of Systems Engineering and Discipline Lead Engineer for Hydraulic Control Systems at AXTech AS since January 2008, focusing on marine and offshore lifting equipment. Previously, Eythor held roles as a Senior Engineer in Control Systems, a Senior Development Engineer at Powex, and a Development Engineer at Medcare, specializing in marine, industrial, and medical devices. Early career experience includes engineering positions in software/hardware design at Eegholm Electronic, ship electronics at Furuno, and consumer electronics at Rafbaer. Eythor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Syddansk Universitet and a Master Diploma in Electronic Craftsmanship from Reykjavik University, complemented by earlier education in electrical technology.
