Brian Carter

Brian Carter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian is currently working at Axtella as the VP of Technology, where they began in September 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of AVP Advisor-Facing Technology Solutions at Axtella from January 2021 to September 2021.

Earlier in their career, Brian was the Owner and President of BGC Software, LLC, a one-person company specializing in iPhone app development. Brian started this venture in 2018 and continued until October 2021. At Zeta Global, they served as a Software Engineering Manager from October 2019 to December 2020.

Brian also has extensive experience at Jackson, where they held various roles. From 2017 to 2019, they were an IT Manager, leading software quality initiatives and implementing Agile/Scrum practices. Prior to this, they held the position of IT Manager, overseeing software development and team expansion. Brian also served as a Senior Programmer and Lead Programmer before becoming a Senior Systems Engineer, leading the development of a multi-function enterprise system.

Additionally, Brian worked as a Consultant and held other positions to further enhance their expertise.

Brian Carter completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Corporate Strategy, Leadership, and Finance at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Science Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1990 to 1993.
