Madeleine Bareau

Madeleine Bareau has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 with their role as Marketing and Communications Director for the New College Student Council at the University of Toronto. In 2013, they took on additional roles as a Graphic Designer for Design in Design, an Athletic Trainer for New College New Dragons, and a Researcher for Canadian Blood Services. In 2014, they became a Biomedical Engineering Laboratory Researcher at the University of Toronto Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering, as well as a Co-Founder of Undergraduate 3MT U of T. In 2016, they took on a role as Associate Supervisor of Operations - Internal Medicine at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. In 2018, they became a Product Manager, Interoperability and Technical Architect, Cloud Operations and Engineering at athenahealth. Most recently, they are a Sr. Product Manager at both Axuall and Invitae.

Madeleine Bareau obtained a Master of Applied Science (MASc) from the University of Toronto's Institue of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering in 2016. Madeleine previously obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Immunology & Human Biology from the University of Toronto in 2014. In addition, they have obtained five certifications from LinkedIn and the Scrum Alliance since 2019, including Product Management: Building a Product Strategy, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Competitive and Market Analysis for Product Managers, Negotiation Skills, and Marketing Foundations: Market Research.
