Jorge Enmanuel Castro Méndez

Jorge Enmanuel Castro Méndez worked as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at Axur starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Asociación Duarte de Ahorros y Préstamos from June 2018 to March 2023. In their various roles at the company, they were involved in incident management, cybersecurity analysis, vulnerability assessment, and fraud prevention. Jorge Enmanuel'sresponsibilities included prevention and response to cyber incidents, development of risk identification techniques, monitoring and analysis of logs, investigation and prevention of electronic frauds, and analysis of transactions and alert handling using tools such as VISA Risk Manager and Monitor Plus.

Jorge Enmanuel Castro Méndez began their education in 2013, attending the Universidad Católica Nordestana. Jorge Enmanuel pursued a degree in Grado en Ingeniería with a specialization in Ingeniería en Sistemas y Computos. Jorge Enmanuel completed their undergraduate studies in 2017.

In 2019, Jorge Enmanuel enrolled in the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo to pursue a Diplomatura in Ciberseguridad. Jorge Enmanuel completed this program in the same year.

Currently, Jorge Enmanuel is pursuing a Master's degree in Ciberseguridad at the Universidad Abierta para Adultos. Jorge Enmanuel started this program in 2022 and is expected to complete it in 2024.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jorge Enmanuel holds several certifications. In November 2022, they became a Sophos Central v3.0 Certified Administrator through training provided by Sophos. In 2021, they obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation certification from PECB, and in 2020, they completed the Introduction to LogRhythm - Administrators and Analysts course provided by LogRhythm. Furthermore, in 2021, they achieved the NSE 1 Network Security Associate certification from Fortinet.
