Gilles Lafagne

Gilles Lafagne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Gilles started their career as a Software Developer at Sopra from 1992 to 1994. Gilles then joined Sopra Group as a Software Developer from 1995 to 1996. At Sopra, they served as a System Engineer and Developer, managing the system infrastructure of Pyramid software solution. Gilles also contributed to the complete rewriting of Pyramid for a Windows architecture from 1996 to 1999.

Afterward, Gilles joined Axway and held various positions, starting as a Project Manager in R&D Sentinel from 2000 to 2003. Gilles managed a team of developers to implement Sentinel and provided pre-sales and support for initial customers. Gilles then served as a Support and QA Manager from 2004 to 2006 and took responsibility as the Support Methods and Tools Manager from 2007 to 2008, where they managed the Support Infrastructure and participated in the integration of support centers after the acquisition of US and German companies. Gilles continued their career at Axway as an IT Project Manager from 2008 to 2010 and as a Digital Workplace Manager from 2010 to 2015. During their tenure as a Business Relationship Manager from 2015 to 2020, Gilles assisted various Axway business departments such as Sales, HR, and R&D.

Their most recent role was as an Information Technology Operations Manager at Axway from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Gilles holds the position of Head of Data and Operations at Axway Information Services, starting from March 2022.

Gilles Lafagne attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble from 1987 to 1990, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied Mathematics at Lycée Montaigne - Bordeaux from 1985 to 1987, receiving a degree called "Mathématiques Spéciales". Gilles completed their secondary education at Lycée Pauillac from 1976 to 1985, focusing on the "Terminal C" field of study.
