Michiel Winthagen's work experience includes roles at various companies. Michiel started their career at Accenture as an Analyst/Consultant from 1998 to 2000. Michiel then worked at Quar-tel Consultancy as a Consultant from 2000 to 2002. Michiel joined Agere Systems as a Program Manager WiFi from 2002 to 2004. Michiel then moved to Telfort/KPN International as a Senior Product Manager/Manager Product Management Wholesale Mobile from 2004 to 2007. After that, they worked at TomTom as a Manager Service Delivery from 2008 to 2008, Sr Manager Product Management DC&P from 2008 to 2010, and Vice President Product Management from 2010 to 2015. Michiel then joined Quby - we create Toon as a Product & Program Manager a.i. from 2016 to 2018. Later, they served as COO/Operationeel Directeur at Luminext BV from 2018 to 2018. Michiel then joined Simacan B.V. as Manager Product and Delivery from 2019 to 2019 and later became COO/Operationeel Directeur from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are working at SPACEWELL | A Nemetschek Company as the Senior Vice President of Technology since 2022.

Michiel Winthagen completed their Msc. in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology during the period of 1991 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended St.Janslyceum from 1989 to 1991 and Kruisheren College from 1985 to 1989, where they did not earn any degrees or specify a field of study.
