David Lalonde

David Lalonde is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in exploration management and leadership. Currently serving as Vice President Exploration and Head of Exploration at Aya Gold & Silver since July 2021, David has previously held positions as Exploration Manager at Minerals Development Oman SAOC from June 2020 to June 2021, and as Exploration Manager, Deputy Manager, and Chief Geologist at SEMAFO Inc. from September 2009 to May 2020. Earlier in David's career, roles included Exploration Project Manager and Field Geologist at Kinross Gold Corporation from October 2004 to August 2009, and Geologist at Quinto Technology, SOQUEM, GEOSIG, MRNQ, and UQAM from June 2000 to October 2004. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Geology from the Université du Québec à Montréal, completed in 2001.
