Don Cummings

Don Cummings is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in the technology and startup sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Ayar Labs since October 2024, Don previously held roles at Acacia Communications, including Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Lead, where contributions were vital during a successful IPO in 2016. Don's expertise also includes a consultancy role at Lightmatter, where early hiring efforts were instrumental in establishing the team. Throughout a career marked by strategic recruitment across multiple technical disciplines, Don has excelled in building in-house staffing functions, reducing hiring costs, and improving recruitment processes for various organizations, including MC10 Inc. and Salient Surgical Technologies.
