Zhi T.

Zhi T. has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. They began their career as a Research Scientist at Beijing Jiaotong University in 2005 and later transitioned to a Postdoctoral Scholar at Chalmers University of Technology in 2008, where they conducted groundbreaking research on optical phase-sensitive amplifiers. Their work led to significant improvements in amplifier solutions and was published in Nature Photonics.

In 2011, Zhi T. joined UC San Diego as a Postdoctoral Researcher before moving on to Infinera in 2013. At Infinera, they served as a Staff Optical Engineer and later a Senior Test SW Development Engineer. In these roles, Zhi T. specialized in developing and implementing calibration and test algorithms for advanced coherent linecard products, as well as performing optical design verification tests on key features.

In 2017, Zhi T. joined Inphi Corporation as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the company's optical engineering initiatives. Over time, they progressed to become a Principal Optical Engineer and eventually a Senior Principal Optical Engineer. Their contributions in optical engineering and design were instrumental to the company's success.

In 2021, Zhi T. moved to Marvell Technology as a Senior Principal Engineer, contributing their expertise in engineering. Currently, they are a Senior Principal Engineer at Ayar Labs, utilizing their engineering skills in their role.

Zhi T. has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University. Additionally, Zhi T. holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in the same field from the same university.
