Denise Remus has extensive experience in healthcare quality and safety, research, evidence-based practice, value-based payment models, performance improvement, and clinical informatics. Denise has held various roles throughout their career, including Chief Analytical Officer at ayeQ starting in 2022. Denise also worked as the President of DR Consulting, LLC since 2012, offering healthcare consulting services to organizations and providers on a contract basis. Denise has served as a Clinical Advisor and Healthcare Strategist at Gen5: Revenue Engineering since 2017. Denise was a Senior Research Scientist at Health Services Advisory Group, Inc. Denise Remus has a comprehensive education history. Denise started their academic journey at The College of St. Scholastica from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Nursing. Following that, from 1979 to 1981, Denise pursued an Air Force ROTC program at the University of Minnesota Duluth, leading to an AF Commission. Denise then continued their education at the University of Minnesota from 1987 to 1990, graduating with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing, focusing on Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). Finally, Denise went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing, specializing in Gerontology & Ethics, from the University of Minnesota between 1990 and 1994.
