Nakia Neves

Nakia Neves is a marketing and business development specialist with more than 15 years of experience working in the AEC industry. As the firm’s Western Regional Director of Marketing and Business Development, she works to position the firm as a national leader in the planning and design of campuses and communities for mission-driven institutions.

An advocate for equitable practice, Nakia leads the firm’s justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) efforts. She loves working with and learning from other members of the team and finds it rewarding to help elevate the voices of underrepresented and next-generation design talent. In 2015, Nakia was honored with the firm’s inaugural Lex Schwartz Collaboration Award, which honors members of the firm who are examples of collaboration and teamwork. Outside of the office, Nakia is a passionate music and art fan who serves as treasurer for the Arizona chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects.
