Matthew Welch

Matthew Welch currently serves as Principal Consultant at AYP Consulting LLC since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Rippling from November 2019 to October 2022, where positions spanned Special Projects, Policy, Professional Services Consultant, Implementation Manager, and Sales Development Representative. At Hitachi Consulting, Matthew worked from January 2017 to September 2019 as a Social Innovation Business Consultant, following earlier roles as Associate Management Consultant and Social Innovation Business Intern. Additional experience includes a research assistant position at the University of Oregon's Department of East Asian Languages in 2015, and a Language Assistant role at East China Normal University in 2013. Matthew holds a Master of Public Administration in Digital Technologies and Policy from UCL (2024-2025), a Master's of Science in Political Science and Government from Trinity College Dublin (2022-2023), a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies with a focus on Chinese Mandarin and Political Science from the University of Oregon (2011-2015), and a Language Certificate in Advanced Language Studies from East China Normal University (2013-2014).
