Mike Ashley

Mike Ashley has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Mike is currently working as the Vice President of Origination at Aypa Power, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, Mike worked at The AES Corporation as the Senior Director of Origination for AES Clean Energy from September 2017 to January 2022. Mike also served as the Manager of Origination at EDP Renewables North America from April 2015 to September 2017. Before that, Mike worked at Invenergy LLC as the Manager of Energy Marketing & Origination from January 2012 to March 2015. Mike gained experience in renewable markets at IHS CERA, where they worked as an Associate in the North American Power Group from September 2010 to January 2012. Mike began their career as an Analyst at ENDS Carbon, focusing on benchmarking corporate carbon performance from January 2010 to August 2010. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst at Clayton Fixed Income Services from October 2006 to August 2009.

Mike Ashley attended Colorado College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History. In 2009, they pursued further education at The University of Edinburgh, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Carbon Management, focusing on the economics of energy and sustainability.
