Isabel Gomez

Isabel Gomez is an experienced immigration attorney currently working at Ayuda since October 2021. Previously served as a Staff Immigration Attorney at Tahirih Justice Center from March 2019 to October 2021. Earlier roles include Judicial Law Clerk and Family Court Resource Law Clerk at D.C. Superior Court, with experience as a Judicial Intern in 2015. Isabel gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at Ayuda and contributed to the Immigrant Children's Legal Project with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Virginia Tech.
