Olivier Verborgt M.D.

Olivier Verborgt MD, PhD, currently serves as the President of the Belgian Elbow Shoulder Society and has been a Guest Professor at UAntwerpen since November 2016. Olivier holds the position of Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Shoulder Surgeon at AZ Monica, where tenure began in May 2011. Additionally, Olivier works as a Consultant in Shoulder Surgery at the University Hospital of Antwerp since October 2012. Previously, Olivier held the presidency of the Belgian Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology from December 2015 to December 2017 and practiced Shoulder Surgery at AZ St Lucas Brugge from July 2005 to April 2011. Olivier's education includes degrees from the University of Antwerp, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Vlerick Business School.
