Vincent de la Porte

Vincent De La Porte is an experienced ophthalmologist currently practicing at AZ Monica since August 2022 and at UZA since October 2023, specializing in medical retina, uveitis, and cataract surgery. Prior experience includes a fellowship in Medical Retina and Uveitis at Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam and a residency in ophthalmology at UZA. Vincent's medical training began with a bachelor's and master's degree in medicine from the University of Antwerp, complemented by an internship in cardiology and nephrology at the University Medical Center Groningen. Additionally, Vincent has contributed to medical education as a Human Anatomy Dissection Assistant and held leadership roles within the European Medical Students Association Antwerp vzw, co-founding initiatives focused on clinical exam preparation and sexual education for high school students.
