Maarten Marechal

Maarten Marechal holds a Master’s Degree in History from Ghent University and has extensive experience in human resources and personnel administration. Currently, Maarten serves as a Staff Member for Personnel Administration and Budget at AZ Oostende since June 2022, contributing to the enhancement of healthcare services in the region. Prior to this role, Maarten worked as a Staff Member in Personnel Finance at AZ Jan Palfijn from July 2021 to June 2022, and during a brief tenure at Daikin Europe, Maarten focused on HR planning and analytics. Maarten's career at AZ Jan Palfijn also included earlier positions in personnel finance and policy since 2014. Additional experience includes roles at TP Vision and Greenfish, where responsibilities spanned HR support, recruitment, and consultancy for sustainable engineering. Early career experience includes a traineeship at The Centre for European Studies, providing administrative and organizational support.
