Heather McGee

Heather McGee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Heather began their career in 2008 at Chick-fil-A, where they served as a Team Member and was trained in multiple roles, including register operation and food preparation, while maintaining excellent customer service. Heather later advanced to the position of Team Leader, managing shifts, handling cash, and resolving customer issues.

In 2013, Heather joined Belk as a Fine Jewelry employee, where they built personal relationships with clients and utilized their exceptional customer service skills to provide satisfactory experiences. Heather continued this role until 2016.

Following their time at Belk, Heather joined South Georgia Psychiatric and Counseling Center in 2015 as a Medical Receptionist. In this position, they managed payments, checked patients in and out, verified insurance, and facilitated appointment scheduling. Heather also played a key role in ensuring office efficiency and organization by overseeing referrals and developing an Excel spreadsheet for patient organization. Heather remained with the center until early 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Heather worked as an Agent at New York Life Insurance Company before transitioning to the role of Office Coordinator at Compass Behavioral & Developmental Consultants LLC. in 2021. Heather then joined Hampton Inn & Suites Valdosta as a Front Desk Clerk in 2017, ensuring guests had a pleasant experience and training new hires until 2019.

In 2022, Heather continued their career as a Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist at Azalea Health Innovations Inc. before advancing to the position of Senior Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist at Azalea Health in 2023.

Throughout their professional journey, Heather has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, exceptional customer service, and the ability to adapt to various roles and industries.

Heather McGee has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Business Education and Information Technology, which they obtained from Valdosta State University between 2017 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Office Administration and Technology at Valdosta State University from 2012 to 2015.
