Bidisha Paul

Bidisha Paul, PhD, is currently a Scientist at Azenta Life Sciences since April 2022. Paul previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at New York University, working on 16S metagenomic library preparation for microbiome sequencing from August 2018 to August 2020. Prior to this, Paul earned a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where research focused on the epigenetic regulation of breast cancer and the influence of dietary phytochemicals on the gut microbiome. Additionally, Paul has experience as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies and has pursued multiple advanced degrees, including two Master's degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Academic training includes specialized programs such as Bio-Trac Training and summer cancer research at esteemed institutions.
