Melanie Alonso

Melanie Alonso is a Clinical Project Manager at Azenta Life Sciences since March 2022, serving as the primary point of contact for pharmaceutical, clinical research, and biotechnology clients while facilitating research projects to meet deliverables and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Prior to this, Melanie held the position of Team Lead at GENEWIZ, overseeing daily operations for the NJ Plasmid DNA Preparation Team, managing a team of 10, and providing coaching and mentorship. Melanie also worked as Laboratory Technician 3, handling customer communications and project processing, and served as an Optometric Technician at Drs. Barnes and Carter, assisting patients and managing insurance information. Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University in 2012.
