Sharon McAvoy

Sharon McAvoy, CMP, CTSM Gold Level, currently serves as the Senior Global Tradeshow and Events Manager at Azenta Life Sciences, where Sharon is responsible for creating the first Global Event Program from the ground up. Previously, at Waters Corporation, Sharon held multiple roles, including Global Event Manager and Senior Global Marketing Communications and Event Specialist III, in which responsibilities included developing event strategies for a leading analytical instruments company and overseeing marketing communications for the Clinical Business Operations Division. Prior experience includes managing global tradeshow programs at Boston Scientific for the Oncology Division, establishing marketing communications initiatives at Helix Technology Corporation, and coordinating advertising and sales promotion activities at Instron Corporation. Sharon holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Management/Economics and Political Science from The Sage Colleges - Russell Sage College.
