Umid Aliyev

Umid Aliyev has a strong background in finance and taxation. Umid has worked in various roles at different companies throughout their career. Umid's most recent position is as the Head of Tax at Azerbaijan Airlines, where they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they were an Adjunct Lecturer at Western Caspian University and worked as a Tax Tutor at BRIDGE Academy. Umid also worked as a Financial Controller at Ders Evi and as a Tax Team Lead at Blue Planet Distribution LLC. During their time at Baker Tilly Azerbaijan, they held multiple roles, including Senior Tax Consultant, Tax Consultant 3, and Tax Consultant 1. Umid began their career as an Accountant at Abacus Audit and Consulting LLC and later served as a Financial Qualifications Manager at CBS Language & Business School. Umid started their professional journey as a Program Coordinator at GRBS.

Umid Aliyev obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management from The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In addition, they have a certification in ACCA F3 from ACCA.
