Nargiz Samadova

Nargiz Samadova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international relations, event management, and sustainability. Currently serving as an ESG Manager at Azerbaijan Railways since July 2023, Nargiz has also held the role of ESG Specialist and Deputy Head of Events and Internal Communication at Sweden Students & Alumni Network Azerbaijan since October 2023. Prior positions include Head of Protocol and International Relations Unit at Azercosmos from March 2013 to September 2022 and Translator/Specialist in International Relations at Baku International Mail Exchange Office from September 2008 to October 2011. Additionally, Nargiz has contributed as a volunteer English language teacher at UNICEF and interned at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Nargiz holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Global Studies from Jönköping University and a Master of Arts in Sociolinguistics from the University of Bern, and is currently pursuing a Professional Certificate in Sustainability at MIT Professional Education.
