Rauf Humbatzada

Rauf Humbatzada is an experienced Environmental and Social Specialist currently serving at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) since October 2022, focusing on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). Previously, Rauf held multiple positions at Azerbaijan Railways, including Safeguard Specialist for the ADB Project Implementation Unit and Environmental and Social Specialist for the AFD Project Implementation Unit. Prior consulting work at Kocks Consult GmbH involved significant projects such as the construction of the Alat - Astara Highway. Rauf's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Ecology from Azerbaijan State Economic University and a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.
