Tom Lord

Tom Lord has worked in the tech industry since 2013. In that time, they have held various roles, including Translator for Auctionata AG, Work Placement: Translation & TEFL for Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, System Administrator for Searchmetrics, Inc., Salesforce Developer for Propertybase, Software Engineer for Netcetera - Software Matters, and MES Developer (React.js & TypeScript) for azeti GmbH. Theirroles have included tasks such as frontend development of an MES platform, full-stack development with Java 11, Spring & Spring Boot, Angular 2+ with TypeScript, and onboarding with Active Directory and Exchange Server Management Tools. Tom has also worked with a wide range of development tools, including Git, Apache Maven, Flyway, Jenkins, Rundeck, JUnit & Mockito, Lombok, and Selenium.

Tom Lord received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a BA Hons Modern Languages in French & German from University of Birmingham between 2008 and 2012. Tom also completed an Erasmus semester in Germanistik from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2011 and another Erasmus semester in Lettres Modernes from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III between 2010 and 2011.
