Mats Lorentsen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mats started their career at McDonald's, where they worked their way up from a crew position to an Assistant Shift Manager. Mats then served as a Board Member and Project Manager at ANSA, organizing events for Norwegian students in Singapore. Mats also worked as a Freelance Marketing Consultant for the Norwegian Seafood Export Council, conducting market research and recommending marketing strategies. Mats later joined NOVA VISTA as a Team Manager, managing a team for guerrilla marketing events. Mats then transitioned to DNB, initially working as a Financial Advisor and later as an Account Manager for small to medium-sized businesses. Mats then joined Aker Solutions, where they held roles such as Project Management Trainee, Change Lead & Financial Controller, and Discipline Supervisor in Change Management. Following this, they worked at Teekay Corporation as a Project Controller before joining EY as a Manager and Board Member. Currently, Mats is working at Azets as the Head of Advisory, Business Development & Sustainability, where they lead projects focused on efficiency improvements, sustainability strategies, and delivering valuable services to clients.
Mats Lorentsen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Marketing from BI Norwegian Business School in 2009. Mats then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with merit in International Marketing from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2008 to 2009. Later, Mats Lorentsen earned a Master of Arts degree in Management with a focus on International Business from Regent's University London, which they completed in 2010.
