In their role at Huawei, Maniacup was responsible for managing and supervising the on-site implementation of the Globe Homerun/Globe MILO Project for End-to-End FTTH. Michael monitored project progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

Michael Maniacup attended Assumpta Technical High School from 2008 to 2012, where they studied computer programming. Michael then went on to attend Mapúa University from 2012 to 2019, majoring in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a specialization in Test and Measurement. Throughout their education, Michael also obtained additional certifications, including the 2017 International Innovation Competition of Applications of Sensors and Micro-Computers from Asian Power Devices and a Certificate of Completion in the 2017 CYCU Summer Internship Program from Chung Yuan Christian University.
